Two last days here...

Firstly I have to say that this will be my last entry so goodbye to all my readers!!!
   Yesterday it was Thursday. As everyday we woke up early and we had breakfast. I think it was one of the few days we've been punctual!
  After that we went to the library and we almost finished the magazine but we wrote a new entry on the blog too.
   When it was half past two we met in the main door of the shopping centre and we started the treasure hunting. We had to go along all the city to do it! And it was hard because it was too hot! My team won so it was fine, ha ha ha!
 
  We had dinner at seven o'clock and we went to salsa lessons but once we were there we just saw old people dancing so we run away from the lessons!
  
  We got to home and went to bed.
    

Wednesday of relax.

 Hi guys!!! Yesterday was Wednesday and little by little we're getting closer to the end of this journey.
 We woke up a bit earlier than the days before because we had been punished so we had to be preparing breakfast ten minutes before.
  We took the bus to the library and there we wrote in our blogs, in our diaries and in the magazine. We spent about four hours there!
  After that we went to have lunch to Parker's Piece, one of the biggest parks in Cambridge. It was very hot under the sun so once we had finished eating we went to look for some colder place.

  We were told that we had about three hours of free time and at quarter to six we had to be at home to do our "private" reading club.
 
  After talking about our books I went to my bedroom to wait for the dinner to be ready. We had rice for dinner and later we tried to finish the video with the things we filmed around Cambridge.
  At eleven o'clock we went to our bedrooms.

Tuesday of ghosts

  Hello! On Tuesday we woke up early again. We had breakfast and we came to the library. Here we wrote a new entry on our blogs and later we tried to finish the magazine. After that we had to write some questions about the Olympic Games.
                               
We had lunch in the library and went to the city centre. Once there we had to ask our questions to anyone on the street. I asked to an English family that found that my questions were very funny.
  We had some free time and went back home. When we were there we had to learn by heart a ghost story about a college because after dinner we were going to do a ghost tour around Cambridge. I had to learn a story about Magdalene college.
       
 We painted our faces in black and white and went out. We were passing by all the colleges and one by one we were telling our story.
   At eleven o'clock we took the bus and we went to bed.

Monday free of library

   On Monday we didn't have to go to the library so we chose another activity to do and we decided to go bowling. It was funny but very expensive too, each one had to pay twelve pounds!But we had a great adventure before arriving to the bowling alley... We got lost!

   

  After eating in the guesthouse we had some free time to rest. Then at five o'clock we went to a park to play cricket. It was very tiring because in cricket you have to run a lot but we had a lot of fun anyway.
    
     We were exhausted because it was too hot so we went to the guesthouse, made dinner and did some scrapbooking. After that we went to sleep.

Last weekend here

     Hi everyone!!! On Friday we went to the library in the morning as most of the days and in the afternoon we had two very funny activities.
     The first one was punting. That was about treating to drive a typical boat in the river Cam. We had a lot of crashes with other punts and with the walls; and Mark, a Canadian guy who was driving the boat, was about to fall in the water twice; but it was very funny!
                   
  After punting we went running to a Taekwondo class. It was our first lesson and we were already kicking and ,of course, it was difficult but it was funny too!
                                              
  On Saturday we could wake up later than the days before. We went to the train station and took a train to Ely. It's a small and beautiful town which is famous because of its cathedral. When we got to the monument we didn't have to pay because there was a party inside so we could visit it for free and eat too!
                  
   On Sunday we had our free day. We woke up at eleven o'clock and we ate four biscuits and went to the city centre. There we went to the Grand Arcade, the shopping centre of Cambridge. When we were hungry we went to an Italian restaurant where I ate a pizza. After that we went to the King's college area to buy some souvenirs and went back home.

                                     

Thursday 19; speaking day.

  Yesterday after waking up early and having breakfast we went to the library. We are still trying to finish the magazine but it's going well.
   After these two hours and a half of work we wento to have lunch but as we didn't have a place to eat because of the rain we had to eat in a refuge point just before the bike parking.
   Later we went to a kind of speaking classes in Harris', a place near the Market square. There we met people like Max, from Canada; Chris or Joe. We were talking for a while and after that we started to play  a game called "Don't say it", it was very funny because you had to make the other people find out a word but you couldn't say that word and other words related to the first one.
                    

  We got to the guesthouse and we had the first session of our own reading club. We had to talk about the books we are reading and try to sum up what we had read, so i had to talk about "River boy".
                                                     
    We had for dinner jacket potatoes and fish. After eating we starated to make the video of the day we were filming in Cambridge and at quarter past eleven we went to sleep.
 

Wednesday 18;American cemetery and murder dinner.

On Wednesday we woke up at twenty to eight as everyday. After having breakfast we came to the library and we did things such as writing on our blogs and on our diaries; and continue with the magazine.
    After having the packed lunch inside the library we took the bus to the American cemetery. There a guide explained to us how many people were buried in the cemetery, a little less tan 4000 american soldiers. We could see a huge wall with the names of the soldiers of the WWII whose bodies were never found. Nowadays they identified a body so they put a mark beside his name on the wall to say that his body has been found. On that wall there was a name written in gold because he's got the medal of honor.
              

     When we finished we went to the guesthouse and prepared our character for the murder dinner. It was a game that was about finding out what character was the murderer so it was like a play. I had to play the role of a man in his earlies 70's who was addicted to marijuana. It was funny!
    After that we went to sleep.
 

Second Tuesday.

   Yesterday it was Tuesday. As everyday we had to wake up fifty minutes before the breakfast time to have a shower.
   After having breakfast we came to the library to write something new in the blog, to follow trying to finish the magazine and to look for some funny videos becuse the theme night was about that.
   We went to have lunch to "Jesus Green" park and after that I bought a sweatshirt in a gift shop.
    Later we met some guys and we went to a College tour, we saw Saint John's college, Trinity college, Clare's college and King's college with its chapel.
                                                

    In our free time we went to the Eagle pub but we had to be over twenty-five to have a coke at five in the evening so we went to a supermarket and we bouhgt them there.
                               
    At night, after having for dinner lasagna and mushrooms, we had some fun seeing the funny videos we'd been looking ___ during the morning.
    When it was eleven o'clock we went to our bedroom and tried to read a bit but it was impossible because we were really tired so we fell asleep.

Another Monday

   Hello everybody! Yesterday it was Monday so we turned to wake up early. We had to do all that things we do during the morning such as having a shower or tidying the room.
  We came to the library and I wrote the entry before, I continued with the diary and we tried to finish the magazine, but we couldn't!  After having lunch we went to the cinema and we saw "The five-year engagement", it was very funny!

                             

   Then, when the film ended, we went to a supermarket and when we were coming back the guesthouse the bus driver left Fafy and me outside. He was very unfriendly and probably quite stupid!
   At night we had to cook with a lot of help two Spanish omelettes.
                  
After having dinner we listened to some songs and we read their lyrics. I played "Last night" by Good Charlotte, I like this song a lot!
   We went to bed quite late so we fell asleep very quickly.

First weekend in Cambridge

Hi guys! I haven't written these days because we haven't come to the library during the weekend.
     On Friday we came here and I wrote the entry about what I'd done on Thursday. After that we went to the park to have lunch and to play some sports like cricket, frisbee or football. We had a good time there.
     When we arrived to the guesthouse we had dinner and our theme night was "pub quizz" so we did something like a contest with questions about Cambridge. Our team won.
      Finally we could wake up later in Saturday! We had breakfast and we did the magazine and the scrapbook. When it was one o'clock we had lunch and met our tourist guide because we were going to do a bike tour to Grantchester. We passed among people, cars and cows but finally we reached our destination.
                                               

    On Sunday we had to wake up a bit earlier than Saturday and we made a Full English breakfast with beans, mushrooms, bacon, toasts and fried eggs.
                                    
                                        

    After having breakfast we had the whole day free. We went to the city centre and had some fun. At night we had to eat the leftovers from days before and pizza. After that we went to sleep.

Fifth day in British lands

      Hi everybody! Our fifth day in Cambrige was quite good. We woke up and we had to do all the things that we always do in the morning like waking up early, having a shower in five minutes, getting dressed in two minutes, tidying our bedroom in thirty seconds and going downstairs running.
      We took the bus to the library and we had to look for a British legend and to search information about an important place or momument in Cambridge. I chose Trinity College.
                                                

      We had to choose a book too so I chose one called "River Boy", I hope it is good!
      In the afternoon, after have lunch, we went to King`s College to start "filming around Cambridge" that consisted in being like a tour guide of the monument we had chosen before.
      When we were at home we had dinner and we had to translate the menu. After that we told our legend. Mine was about a Colonel called Thomas Sydney that live in Old Hall. He killed his neighbour in a race because he didn`t want to lose. The following year in the New Year Eve`s the devil broke into the Hall and took him under his arm. It`s a curious story, don`t you think that?
      Later we went to bed because it was late and we were really tired.

Fourth day ^^

       Well, yesterday it was our fourth day here. We woke up early and went downstairs to have breakfast like everyday. Then we came to the library and did the same as days before and we had to look for some horror stories. I had to do a challenge too; I had to find out the origin of punts, the boats of the Cam river. It was quite funny because the woman of the library didn't understand me and she gave me a book about Hitler when I was looking for a book about Cambridge!
       After packed lunch we went to Fitzwilliam Museum where we could see a many objects from Rome, Greece or Egypt and a lot of pictures.
                           
                           

          We had free time and we went to a Reading Club that was very very very boring so I think we won't come back.
      At night we had a traditional English dinner in a pub and later we went to a party where there were people of all the nationalities.
                     
                            

    When we arrived home we started to tell horror stories that didn't scare very much because we hadn't learn it so we couldn't tell them very well.

Third day in Cambridge

      Yesterday it was our third day in the British town of Cambridge. And as we've been doing days before we had to wake up early, in fact we had to wake up earlier than days before.
      We had breakfast and we went to the library. I wrote the second entry of my blog, I started with my diary and I looked for some interesting news about Cambridge. Then we  were divided into groups and we had to do a magazine about Cambridge, its history, its festivals, etc...
      After that we went to have lunch to a park near the library (Christ's Pieces park) and we had some free time. Later we talked about British cuisine and we came back to the library to do an activity about that.
      At night we did scrapbooking, an activity where you have to decorate a book and put personal things or objects you'd like to preserve inside it. Then we saw the first part of a film, Limitless, and we went to bed.
               
                      

Second day here

      Hi guys! Yesterday it was my second day here, in Cambridge. Like everyday we had to wake up very early and we went to have breakfast like zombies. After that we came to the library where I created this blog and wrote its first entry, I looked for a few jokes in English and I researched for some history of Cambridge.
       Later we went to have lunch to a park and we had an hour of free time. I went with a friend to Starbucks and I had a chocolate cream.
       In the evening we made a tour around the city and we visited colleges like Emmanuel's College or King's College.
   
                      

     We saw punts in the river and visited places like the Eagle pub or a chocolate shop (fudge!). We saw a very strange clock with a horrible grasshoper over it.

           

     At night we had to recall the tour we had done and explain what things we had learned about every monument visited and we were interviewed by our teachers.
       After all this things we went to sleep.

First day in Cambridge

Hi there!, yesterday it was my first day in Cambridge and I'd like to tell you how it was. Firstly you have to know we have to wake up very early here and that's a big problem because in Spain we sleep a lot but in a couple of days it probably won't matter.
  

        During or first day we went to the town centre and we stayed in the library for a while. After that we had lunch and we had two hours of free time inside a mall because it was raining. Later we went to a park where there were a lot of Asian people.

      We took the bus back to the guesthouse and we were asked to do a writing saying our expectations for these three weeks. What I said was that I wanted to learn more English and I wanted to speak it more fluently; and that I hoped to speak with a lot of native people to improve my English.
      Well, I think I have written enough things for today. See you another time.
